This course includes approximately eight (8) hours of classroom instruction, a course manual, and a written exam.

The PWC - BOAT OPERATOR PROFICIENCY COURSE manual was produced in accordance with the CCG Boating Safety Course Standards and contains all of the basic, pertinent, and vital elements of boating and water safety, in an easy-to-read format for all ages. This CCG accredited Course will provide you with the necessary knowledge of important safety requirements for you, your family and friends.

In addition, the PWC - BOAT OPERATOR PROFICIENCY COURSE has already achieved international recognition and is approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) and recognized by the United States Coast Guard.

The WTC/CFM also offers its manual in a home-study format, and will provide testing and certification through its network of Instructors across Canada and the United States. (A fee of $20 plus 7% GST will be charged at the time of testing.)
