ABOUT US

Since 1989, the WTC/CFM has provided its’ recognized and endorsed training programs to boaters.

The COPCR requires operators to carry proof of competency at all times. A proof of competency can take one of 3 forms. A PCOC being one of them.

A CCG Pleasure Craft Operator Card can only be issued by a Course Provider such as the WTC/CFM, whose course(s) have been officially accredited by the CCG.

Many states have implemented similar legislation and require the you carry a certificate that is recognized by the United States Coast Guard (USCG) and is approved by the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA).

The BOAT SAFE OPERATOR PROFICIENCY COURSE is a CCG accredited boating course, recognized by the U.S. Coast Guard and approved by NASBLA. Successful candidates who complete the classroom training and/or pass the supervised testing will be issued a
CCG Pleasure Craft Operator Card.

Our courses will make you a more confident watercraft operator and help to create a safer and more enjoyable boating environment for all. The education and information you will gain from our training courses will last you a lifetime.

You only have to take the training and/or pass the test once - your certificate is valid for life.

Classroom training, testing, and/or on-the-water certification can all be attained through the WTC/CFM in a number of formats.
